否定词位于句首真的就要倒装吗？

先来看一些例句Never does he come late. Little did he know that the police were after him. Hardly had he arrived at the station when the train began to leave.

看着也没问题啊，那我干嘛要谈这个？因为真的有问题！并不是说只要否定词位于句首真的就要倒装，要不要倒装并非只取决于否定词是否位于句首！还有另外一个因素就是否定词修饰限定谁！这就是一个很多人没注意到的细节。

看一看下面这个句子有没有什么不对头的：Hardly anyone was there.
有问题吗？没有吧，句意正确，也符合语法句法等，简洁，精确，清楚都完美复合，莫得问题。但为啥不倒装？你看看hardly修饰的是谁？是anyone。是不是茅塞顿开，这完全就不需要倒装。 那回过头看看刚刚上面那三句为啥要倒装？Never does he come late. Little did he know that the police were after him. Hardly had he arrived at the station when the train began to leave.

修饰的主体是啥？还原到倒装之前的正常语序就很清楚了He never come late. He knows little that the police were after him. He hardly arrived at the station when the train began to leave.

never修饰的是come，little修饰的是know，hardly修饰的是 arrived。
